I was born in Caracas, Venezuela. I graduated from Law School and practiced for seven years. I also have a Masters Degree in International Relations and Communications from the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain. I have always felt great passion for children, that’s why in 2000 I decided to open a Preschool in my hometown (children aged 6 months to 5 years). This experience allowed me to participate in the design and implementation of educational curricula (based on the Reggio Emilia method) that allows children to explore and learn through art). I have had the opportunity to live in 6 different countries! In 2004 I moved to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where I lived with my family for a couple of years, learn Portuguese and live within another culture. I arrived to the United States in 2009, and began my career in education supporting Public Schools across several districts. In 2010 I had the great pleasure to be part of the Memorial Elementary School team and contribute, as an aide, to their wonderful Spanish immersion Program. From 2011 to 2013 I worked as a Spanish teacher at Touchstone Community School (Grafton, MA), building and implementing a robust Spanish curriculum for grades K-8. I came back to work at Memorial Elementary in 2013 as a Kindergarten Spanish Immersion teacher. This is my passion and I am very excited to help shaping the hearts and minds of this beautiful children and work in partnership with their families!
I welcome you to our class!

I am from Venezuela, a beautiful tropical country in South América. I have a bachelor's in Education with a minor in Modern Languages. I came to Boston 18 years ago and since then I have been raising my 4 kids. My passion and love for children has always kept me very close to my profession in every way. My perception of education has always been to provide a nurturing environment when working with children. My aspiration is to immerse them in a dual culture reality and to continually motivate them to use their creativity and imagination. I thank Memorial Elementary School for the opportunity they have offered me to be part of its family and contribute to the full development of the cognitive, social and emotional potentials of the little ones within the Spanish Immersion Program. I am looking forward to a fantastic school year!
